Founding partners Michelle S. Park and Tina M. Fryar are experienced employment law attorneys with a combined 20 years of counseling and litigation experience at national and regional law firms. Prior to founding their own firm, Park and Fryar practiced law together at the largest labor and employment law firm in the nation. Park's employment law expertise is reflected in a published precedent-setting decision reaffirming an employer's defense to defamation claims in California. (See Noel v. River Hills Wilsons, Inc., 113 Cal. App. 4th 1363 (2003)). Fryar's insights regarding employment law issues have been quoted in publications such as the San Diego Business Journal and the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.
Park and Fryar were nominated for the San Diego Business Journal's 2007 "Women Who Mean Business Award" and have appeared as frequent speakers and panelists at bar and employment-related events on topics such as discrimination, harassment, diversity, and workplace investigations. Park and Fryar have long served as leaders in the legal and civic community. Both served as President of Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, and Fryar is currently serving as the President of the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association.
